Inexpensive Gag Gifts Your Bachelor Will Love

Bachelor Party Gag Gift

They’re useless. They’re tasteless. But most importantly, they’re just damn funny. Gag gifts have long been an indispensable bachelor party staple.  Like the proverbial “cherry on top” – they have the singular ability to take an already fun time and add just a bit more silliness to it.

There are lots of choices when it comes to picking the right one, however. I’ve put together some hints and advice that can help you pick out the right gag gift for your Doomed Groom – and even thrown in some suggestions for good measure.

RULE #1 – KEEP IT CONVENIENT

If your bachelor party is like most, you will have lots of bachelor party activities and destinations that your group will be traveling to over the course of the evening.  And while it might be hilarious as all hell to watch your bachelor traipse from bar to bar lugging around some huge, embarrassing prop, it’s going to get real old for him, real fast.  Always remember that the night is meant for him to enjoy, first and foremost.  So make sure that whatever gag gift you give him is easily transported.

RULE #2 – KEEP IT CONNECTED

Make sure to utilize his interests. Does he like to play golf? Then give him a golf gag gift. How about bowling? Then give him a bowling gag gift. If you can find a way to purchase a gift that is somehow affiliated with what he likes, the extra thought will be appreciated.

RULE #3 – KEEP IT CHEAP (OR FREE)

Let’s be honest…  Is your bachelor really going to have much use for a six-foot inflatable penis after he gets married?  Actually, I don’t think you want to know the answer to that question.

Seriously though, whatever you buy him will probably end up in the trash bin minutes after he carries his new wife across the threshold.  So, don’t waste a lot of money on a gag gift.  If at all possible, try and think of some ideas for homemade gag gifts.  An example of this would be to make a dunce cap for him that he can wear around on the night of the party (as in my article Marked For Death).  There are all sorts of ideas that you can come up with if you just use your imagination.

On the other hand, if you don’t have the time (or desire) to make your own, and you just want to buy one, I still wouldn’t recommend spending over $30 for it.  If you do, it will probably just end up being a waste of money. Below, I’ve compiled a list of gag gifts that are not only affordable, but they’re funny as hell, too! They’ll give you a lot more bang for your buck and won’t leave you broke, either.
